Thoroughly clean the desired mounted area. 2. Mark the position of self-tapping screw. 3. Pre-drill two holes for self-tapping screw, if needed 4. Put plastic anchor into the holes if need. 5. Uncover the thin film on the 3M tape. 6. Stick the gun magnet assembly on the ideal place you chooses. 7. Insert and screw down the self-tapping screw. This gun magnet comes with the best tape in the market. its 3M, VHB pressure sensitive tape. If you want to use the tape only, please ensure the mount surface is COMPLETELY CLEAN, DRY and SMOOTH. it wont work well on textured surfaces at all, screws will be required to hold it. After you place the magnet on the surface, please let it set, without use, for 2 days. Since the 3M tape is pressure sensitive, when you first put it on the surface, please hold in place with pressure for 1 min. a constant pressure on the magnet will help ensure best adhesion and give you the best performance. Do not use in areas that are over 176 Deg F. Firearms are dangerous and should always be kept out of children's reach. keeping guns stored with the safety on is best practice.
