For video recording you can use optional apps like MoviePro or FilMic Pro (IOS Only), and Cinema FV-5 (Android) or for audio recording MightyMic Pro Recorder (IOS). There are many devices you can use with your smartphone that will give great results for making phone calls or playing music, but they are not optimized to get awesome sound with a video app like the MightyMic Pro.
