Here are key signs when your car brake rotors and pads need to be replaced:
1.Low thickness: When brake pads wear down to 3 - 4mm, it's time for replacement. Check wear - limit marks or measure with a caliper.
2.Abnormal noise: Sharp, metallic screeching during braking signals worn - out pads, often due to built - in alarm pieces contacting the disc.
