This hose is built for endurance and performance in custom coolant and turbo intake plumbing applications. Silicone rubber with 3-ply reinforcement makes this hose tough, reliable, and flexible to temperatures from -60°C to +180 degrees C. This 1 3/4" (45mm) ID 180 degree elbow hose is hand-crafted and quality inspected to the highest European standards. Sleeper Black color with a smooth, shiny "wipe-down" finish. Legs measure approximately 4 inches long (measured from the centerline of the U-bend). Leg spacing is 4" (100mm) center-to-center (2" centerline bend radius). The 4.5mm wall thickness makes the OD 54mm (2 1/8"). Use with our Aluminum Splicing Nipples (Part No. HJ45) and Lined Hose Clamps (Part No. 3613-2.50) to construct the exact bends and lengths you need. Note: This hose is NOT formulated for use in oil or fuel plumbing applications. It will survive occasional spills and oil leaks, but it will not stand up to continuous exposure to petroleum.
