These are the M-65 helmet covers and were initially designed for the M1 helmets, also known as the “steel pots” they were made during the Vietnam Era. Its outer shell is made of Nylon Cotton, and its interior is Nylon Fleece. These insulating helmet liners can also be worn alone as a hat; they feature earflaps that protect your ears from frigid temperatures and can be fastened under or over the chin, at the back of the neck, or folded up around the top with a hook and loop closure. Its forehead flap perfectly covers and protects your sinuses from the cold; they also feature slits on both sides, allowing the helmet chin straps to be attached below the chin.
