Simply unplug your PMD from the original harness and plug in this harness. Next, relocate this harness to your new location and just plug in your new PMD. Shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes. WHY SHOULD I USE A 6 FOOT HARNESS? We have done testing and found that if you locate your PMD anywhere inside the engine compartment it will run hotter than when it's installed on the fuel pump. (stock location) We also installed a PMD that was stalling under the hood and never stalled again when relocated inside the truck. WHERE IS THE BEST PLATE TO RELOCATE THE PMD? First, outside the engine compartment.
