The Laser 9210 is a workshop air powered slide hammer, that uses standard workshop air to extract (pull) or insert (push) by automatically forcing the hammer weight in one direction or the other. Uses air hammer technology but set around a central shaft. In a standard slide hammer, the force that drives the impact is generated purely by the momentum of the sliding weight as it slams into the impact surface. This sudden stop translates a significant shock directly through the handle and the weight into the user's hands and arms. Over time, or with frequent use, this repetitive impact can lead to discomfort, fatigue, and even injuries like vibration white finger or carpal tunnel syndrome. The use of an air powered slide hammer significantly reduces this issue.
