Leather edge sealer is a product specially used to treat the cut edges of leather. Its main functions are to beautify the edges, prevent burrs, increase durability, gloss, and improve the overall craftsmanship quality.
Main functions
Sealed edges: prevent leather fibers from loosening, fuzzing or delamination.
Waterproof: Reduce moisture, oil or penetration, and extend the life of leather.
Aesthetic modification: Make the edges smooth and flat by polishing, and coordinate with the color of the leather.
Enhance wear resistance: Reduce wear on the edges caused by friction.
How to use:
1. Polish the edges until smooth.
2. First pass: Dip the edge sealer with a wool ball brush, apply a thin layer on the edge, and let it stand for 5-10 minutes to dry.
Second pass: Apply the second pass in the same way to ensure uniform penetration.
3. After the edge sealer is completely dry, rub the edge vigorously with the attached tool to make the edge sealer smoother.
4. Polish the edge with a wool ball brush at high speed (or wipe it quickly with a soft cloth manually) to improve the gloss.
5. Final inspection: Touch the edge with your finger, there should be no roughness; observe the edge with side light, it should have a mirror effect.
Notes:
1. Try it in an inconspicuous place first to avoid color difference or reaction.
2. Avoid over-application to prevent caking or hardening of the edge.
3. Store in a cool place, out of reach of children.
