Art Peel should go on a clean surface, free from grease, dust, and fingerprints. Yes, these little finger prints contain grease and sweat that make adhesion more challenging. Cleaning the wall is as simple as running a damp, lint-free cloth over the surface and letting the wall dry. No need for solvents or other cleaning solutions.

What happens if you want to apply the Art Peel to a slightly porous wall such as brick or stucco? Typically, this is not a good idea. Adhesion goes down as there are spaces that do not make contact with the material. That said, the adhesion is so good that people have had excellent success even on those surfaces – but do a surface test first for best results.
