This beautiful Edged Ginger Jar, made by us in Kutahya where it is the ceramic capital of Turkey, is 32 cm in length with a lid and painted on the bisque, then glazed with "lead-free" ceramic transparent glaze and fired at 1050°C.

In Kutahya, Ceramic and underglaze painting and pottery works have been making since the 15th century. We hope this lovely and beautiful art branch will be continued in our clayed hands in the future...

Bisque-making processes are being made by me with slip casting method, design, and painting works belonging to my wife. The ornaments are being picked from traditional Turkish ceramic history but we added a little modern touches like the slip details as reliefs. This product can be used as a storage jar, candy jar, or another food storage because the glaze does not contain lead and is extremely harmless for human health.

You can see the rich tones on the white body of this product. It is a wonderful home decor object!

What a beautiful gift for an anniversary, birthday, or something like that! These objects will be antiques in the future...
