The CANSON XL Huile & Acrylique is a high-quality, durable oil and acrylic painting paper with a basis weight of 290 g/m². The uncoated paper offers unique colour reproduction. It is ideal for oil painting as well as acrylic painting and other wet techniques. Thanks to a special barrier, the oil painting paper absorbs water, solvents and binders evenly and ensures a homogeneous gloss level. The barrier also prevents "hammered" areas due to different oil absorption. Due to its stability, it is also ideal for acrylic work with strong pasty paint application. Its slightly roughened surface provides oil and acrylic paints the necessary adhesion. The high number of sheets of the pad allows a variety of creations. The oil painting paper in study quality offers an optimal price/performance ratio for beginners and frequent users. The paper is acid-free and free from optical brighteners, which means that the white tone remains over time and the drawing paper does not yellow. In addition, it complies with the ISO standard 9706 and thus meets optimal durability. The paper fibres are made from FSC certified wood. This ensures sustainable forest management. As a paper, unlike some stretcher frames, it is easy to transport to be used in the studio or outdoors. The cardboard on the back brings enough stability to use the pad on the go.
