Merida is a brave Scottish princess, who as she gets older, won't let anybody tell her what to do anymore. Certainly not that she is now supposed to get married. She would much rather take charge of her own life. But in her father house, the Scottish King Fergus, only one person rules the roost - Merida's mother, Queen Elin or. But when brave Merida defies tradition, fate dictates she suddenly has to face the wildest beasts of the land. Her actions ultimately cause confusion and trouble far beyond the Scottish Highlands.
