The USS Missouri (BB-63), also known as "Mighty Mo," is an Iowa-class battleship that played a prominent role in U.S. naval history. The most significant event in its history occurred on September 2, 1945, when Japan's unconditional surrender was signed on its deck, officially ending World War II.
