The Muzzle-Loaders Leather Flintlock Jaw Pads are designed to fit 7/8" flints. Simply affix the flat side of the flint to the leather jaw pad using a dab of super glue or pine resin (helps to prevent angled flints from coming loose), then clamp into the flintlock jaws. Using the Leather Flintlock Jaw Pads allows you to preserve your flints, giving you more uses per flint. The leather jaw pads come in a package of 3 and are 7/8" by 1-3/4". Just enough to fold around a flint to expose the edge. These jaw pads are blanks, so they may need to be trimmed for your individual flintlock jaws.
