Warning Buzzer & Chime
Scope of use: After the computer is turned on, we will hear the familiar sound "beep", which generally means that the computer can be used normally. This sound is emitted from this "baby".
The red line is the positive pole and the black line is the negative pole (actually it is not positive or negative, as long as it is connected to the Speaker interface)
Motherboard alarm tone description
The general meaning of the AWARD BIOS ringing tone is:
1 short: The system starts normally, which is what we can hear every day, and it also shows that the machine has no problems.
2 Short: General error, please go to CMOS Setup and reset the incorrect option.
1 long 1 short: RAM or motherboard error, try a memory, if it still does not work, had to replace the motherboard.
1 long 2 short: display or display card error.
1 long 3 short: keyboard controller error, check the motherboard.
1 long 9 short: The motherboard flash RAM or EPROM error, the BIOS is damaged. Try changing the block flash RAM.
Keep ringing (long sound): The memory module is not plugged or damaged. Reinsert the memory module. If it still does not work, only replace one memory.
Keep ringing: The power supply and monitor are not connected to the display card. Check all the plugs.
Repeat short sound: power problem.
No sound, no display: power problem.
