These are also great for improving the grip by adding checking to hammer handles, baseball bats, pool cues, and other wood handles. Sets include one checkering tool holder that will accept each of the four essential cutters included. The four cutters included are one each of 60°,75°and 90° single line cutters plus one spacing cutter.

Cut the initial furrow with a 60° cutter. 2. broaden the initial furrow with a 75° cutter. 3. Complete the furrow with a 90° cutter to make the standard cut. 4. The spacing cutter creates the properly spaced furrow for the particular Lines Per Inch (LPI) specified.
