Special Features

  • Effective Soft Plass Bass Lure: Ned rigs are often used during the spawning season when the Bass is nesting on shallow or sandy gravel bottoms where the water is clear. The Large Mouth is a territorial fish. It will chase away any threat in its vicinity. A Ned Rig drop with a stickworm will imitate a sunfish (bluegill) or crayfish which will provoke the large-mouth and small-mouth to attack
  • Midwest finesse fishing lure: The SENKO stickworm is finesse in size measuring 2.75''(7 cm). The ned hook (mashroom jidhead) comes in two sizes, size #1 and #2 hook (2.8cm and 2.9cm shank length). The weights are 1/16 oz(1.8g) and 1/8 oz(3.5g) respectively. It covers most environments, shallow and deep, still and moving water. The lighter weight gives a smoother action when fish are under pressure
  • High quality soft plastic lure: These Ned Rig baits are made from high quality TPE which makes them super stretchy and durable in use. It floats underwater and the mushroom jig head at the bottom creates a super wiggly effect that sits on the rocky surface to stimulate the fish's reaction bite.(Caution: do not mix any TPE lure PVC soft plastic as they will melt together by chimical reacting)
  • Premium mushroom jighead: The Ned Jighead has been proven to have a better fluttering presentation when dropping, especially with the lighter weight. These mushroom Neds are made from high carbon steel which provides high strength for a rigid hook shank for easy penetration which will withstand the fast reels that pull fish off the structure and lift fish out of the water
  • Bargain Deal: There are a total of 42PCS in this Bass fishing tackle kit including a tackle box, 32 pieces of Senko Stickworms, 5 pieces of 1/16 oz Jighead and 5 pieces of 1/8 oz Jighead. Such a generous amount of tackle makes this a great gift for kids and your fishing buddies, as well as anyone you want to introduce to "Midwest finesse"

Description

One of the best things about fishing with a Ned Rig is how easy it can be. It's an excellent technique for kids and beginners, but effective enough to be used by professional anglers fishing tournaments and trying to catch bass for a living. The simplest way to start fishing with this rig is to cast it out, let it hit the bottom and then work it with light hops. This simple approach will help you imitate small baitfish or crayfish. It's the easiest way to fish the Ned Rig and one of the most effective. The more you experiment with the technique, the more ways you will discover to fish it. For example, you can fish the Ned Rig by dragging it slowly along the bottom, or by fishing with slight twitches followed by pauses, as long as you leave the lure on the bottom long enough to generate bites. Reeling and pausing is another good way to fish, giving the lure the appearance of moving prey. If you are using your electronics and you see fish on the screen, simply dropping lures to them will often be enough to get one to bite. Heavier jig heads will help here as the lure will quickly reach what you see on the screen. The Ned rig has burst onto the scene in recent years and shows no signs of slowing down. This finesse technique continues to grow in popularity as anglers and tackle companies continue to refine it.
