1. Mount the telescope on a stand, adjust the angle, remove the dust cover, and attach the eyepiece.
2. Align the binocular at the object, place it in the middle of the field of view.
3. Turn the focus wheel slowly until you see a bright, clear image.
About magnification: The eyepiece focal length, combined with the telescope focal length, determine the magnification. To calculate the focal length of the telescope by a certain eyepiece, simply divide the telescope focal length (300 mm) with the eyepiece focal length (specified in "mm" on the eyepiece collar). For example, when using H20mm with this telescope becomes the magnification 15 X and with a 3X Barlow lens, the magnification becomes 45X.
