This is one of the few stands to be able to sit completely flush to the floor where it can be taped down or sandbagged to stabilize its load.
It's unique design allows the legs to fold up around the central risers, giving maximum versatile travel of length from short to tall. The result is a extra tall maximum height 7.0 ft light stand that breaks down to only 18.9" - short enough to fit in even the smallest light kit bags.
The stand is topped with a 5/8" mounting stud with 3/8" threads, a 3/8" 1/4"-20 adapter, and weighs just 3.8 lb.
