Description

This Multi-Coated ND Filter is an essential accessory for any photographer's camera bag. ND filters reduce the amount of visible light that enters the lens, allowing the user to utilize wider apertures or slower shutter speeds, particularly in bright conditions.

ND filters work especially well for portraits by allowing the photographer to reduce the depth of field, producing pleasant background blur while keeping the subject in sharp focus. These filters are also often used to emphasize movement by permitting slow shutter speeds in bright light, giving life to photos that would otherwise look frozen in time.

This particular filter is multi-coated to minimize reflection on the filter surface, which reduces flare and ghosting, and produces sharp contrast and well-balanced color. An ND8 filter reduces the amount of light by 3 stops.
Filter Kit will fit the following lenses ONLY:
EF-S 15-85mm
EF-S 18-200mm
EF 28-135mm
EF 20mm f/2.8
EF 50mm f/1.2L
EF 85mm f/1.2L
EF 135mm f/2L
EF 200mm f/2.8L
EF 35mm f/1.4L
EF 180mm f/3.5L
TS-E 45mm f/2.8
Please confirm your lens filter size before you order. Your camera's lens thread size will be marked somewhere on the lens barrel or on the inside of your existing camera lens cap. This number is often preceded by a "Ø" (diameter) symbol. For example: Ø72 = 72mm lens thread size.
