-Filter Kit Details-
These filters are made from the finest solid optical glass. They are heat-treated to avoid any distortion, and each filter is tested in order to ensure a flawless, even surface, which is essential to a quality filter.

A UV filter reduces UV rays from entering the lens and striking the film. Its also ideal for protecting your valuable lens from scratches and dust.

A Polarizer is composed of two pieces of glass, mounted independently inside its frame. As it rotates, it increasingly cuts out glare, reflections, and haze. You can also use this filter to darken blue skies.

An FLD filter provides pleasing skin tones and correct color while shooting under fluorescent lighting. This filter gives true-to-life colors by removing the harsh yellow-green cast resulting from fluorescent bulbs. When shooting under natural light, a fluorescent filter dramatically increases color saturation of subjects such as people, etc.

-Digital Lens Hood Details-
Lens hoods prevent stray light and flares from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. Also, since the end of the lens is extended, you also get some extra protection from accidental impact.
This lens hood maximizes the amount of hood coverage for the minimum amount of weight because of its "petal" shape.
