Graphic design inspired by the Wind God and Thunder God hanging scrolls by the great painter and woodblock artist Kawanabe Kyōsai (1831–1889). The Thunder God has been revered since ancient times as the harbinger of a fertile rice harvest.
We've recreated the eye-catching design on a furoshiki, a traditional Japanese cloth that has been used for hundreds of years to pack and transport wares. The convenient cloths are still popular for use as eco-friendly totes and compact stowage in a pinch.
Pick up your own versatile furoshiki made from 100% recycled PET bottles.
-We support the reduction of waste and of oil consumption. Clothing made using recycled polyester derived from PET bottles is part of this effort.
Ratios of recycled polyester vary by item. Please check “Materials” for details.
