The OD makes contact with the bore on the tool holder and along with the internal bore tolerance it's critical to be able to maintain the overall runout after a long period of usage. All ER Jet Coolant collet has 4 channels that is precision cut out with engineered width and depth to deliver optimal water pressure while not losing the grip on the tool shank.
