2-pack of ZJ rear bump stops, slightly longer than stock, specially designed for your lifted suspension.
Made from premium polyurethane foam, developed to improve your driving experience. Compatible with ZJ 1993-1998 rear bump stop.
Installation Tip1: First make sure all the old bump stop material is out of the cup. Then clean the cup rim. Next jack up the body of the rig from the frame just forward of the rear tire. (NOTE: You will need about 3-4" of extra clearance from the axle for this to work.)
Installation Tip2: Hold the bump stop in the cup and measure the distance to the axle tube. Cut a 2x4 to that length. Now lubricate the cup and the bump stop with a little liquid soap and water. Place the bump stop in the cup, place the 2x4 you cut on the axle tube and against the bottom of the bump stop.
Installation Tip 3: Go to the jack and slowly lower it. (NOTE: When lowering, If the 2x4/stop wants to move sideways, use another piece of wood to keep it, and the stop straight.) As the body settles down the stop will slide nicely into the cup and lock in. Jack up the body and remove the 2x4 and any other things you used to line things up. Lower the jack, move to the other side and repeat.
