Instructions for EL-50449 TPMS Reset Tool
Step 1: Enter Vehicle Learning Mode
① Insert key into ignition.
② Press and hold parking brake.
③ Cycle ignition from OFF to ON 3 times (without starting the engine).
④ Release parking brake and turn ignition OFF.
⑤ Cycle ignition ON 3 more times; hazard lights will flash 3 times to confirm activation of TPMS learning mode.
Step 2: Activate Left Front Sensor
① Hold the tool's antenna upright against the tire sidewall near the valve stem.
② Press and release the Learn Button on the tool.
③ Wait for a chirp from the vehicle's speaker and observe the left front turn signal lighting up.
Step 3: Repeat for Remaining Sensors
① Proceed in clockwise order (right front → right rear → left rear):
② Position the tool's antenna near each sensor as in Step 2.
③ Press and release the Learn Button.
④ Confirm each activation by the corresponding turn signal and speaker chirp.
Step 4: Exit Learning Mode
① After the left rear sensor is activated, the vehicle will chirp twice.
② Turn the ignition OFF to exit TPMS learning mode.
