1. Check Label on AC Compressor
Check the label on your car's AC compressor and make sure it is manufactured by Sanden (blue box) and is model PXE16, PXE14, or one of the factory part numbers listed above.Example. 1K0820808C and you can see the model PXE16 shown (red box)
2. Check the Plug on Your Factory Solenoid
Insure the factory solenoid valve on your AC compressor has a plug directly on the solenoid as pictured above.
3. Verify Factory Valve is Secured with a Snap Ring
Verify that the factory valve is held into the AC compressor with a snap ring.On some compressor models the valve is held in with a bolt, this valve WILL NOT FIT THESE MODELS.
