Goombas are a fictional species from Nintendo's series of Mario video games. They look like shiitake, with bushy eyebrows and a pair of fangs sprouting from their lower jaw. In most games, their movement is merely walking from side to side and they are most commonly defeated by being stomped on, which flattens them.
