Seachem Axolotl Conditioner™ is a concentrated aquarium water conditioner that makes tap water safe for Axolotls by removing chlorine, chloramine and detoxifying ammonia. It converts ammonia, which is highly toxic to Axolotls, into a safe, non-toxic form that is readily removed by the tank's biofilter. Axolotl Conditioner™ also detoxifies nitrite and nitrate, allowing the biofilter to more efficiently remove them making it effective during tank cycling to alleviate ammonia/nitrite toxicity. Additionally, it detoxifies any heavy metals found in the tap water at typical concentration levels. Axolotl Conditioner™ is non-acidic and will not impact pH. Use Seachem Axolotl Buffer™ for safe and effective pH management. Axolotls can produce high levels of ammonia so it is very important to cycle your aquarium with beneficial bacteria such as Seachem Stability® to safely establish and maintain efficient biofiltration.
