NEIKO introduces our Portable No Contact Electric Tester. Test the presence of electric currents rather than measure electrical conditions. This electrician's tool has a sensing tip that lights up and beeps when a current is detected without touching the electric current. 1. Press the button once to turn the tester on. Listen for a single “beep” and steady green LED light to confirm the mode button effective. Press the button for 2 seconds down to turn on the flashlight. The flashlight would not disturb the tester. Hold the button for another 2 seconds to turn off the flashlight. 2. Place the tip of the tester near the AC voltage, when the AC voltage detects, the detection voltage green LED light turns off, the Red LED light blinks 2 times per second and a low pitch beeping sounds means a 12v to 48v was detected. 3. When a 48v to 1000v is detected a Red Led light illuminates continuously and with a high pitched beeping sound. 4. After about 3 minutes of non-use, the tester automatically powers off to save battery.
