Designer Luisa Cruz was born in Mexico and brought up here in the United States. Being brought here at a young age, her life consisted of Hispanic Culture revolving around her everyday life. Speaking Spanish fluently, like many Mexican-American kids, she decided to embark on her first journey back to where she was born. Her family was from an area outside of the major city of Guadalajara. The town's name is Tonalá in the state of Jalisco. She visited for about 3 weeks and met family members (including her Abuela) for the first time! It sure was an emotional moment. It was during this time where she saw the Serape style in every store and almost on every person. Being in design school at the time, she knew what she wanted to design, make, and sell once she reached back home. Today, presented here is her dream into a reality. The hispanic stole graduation serape sarape sash scarf Mexican Latina stole have the "Class Of" writing on each stole and are great gifts/accessories to have for college and high school graduations. They are made, packaged, and sent with love. We can't wait for you to wear them and we are so proud of all the graduates out there. This is an amazing moment, to begin with, but being able to represent our Hispanic Heritage makes it all the more better. Also comes in an mexican american flag graduation sash.
