Excellent Autofocus Performance
When paired with a camera body that supports Fast Hybrid AF, the lens offers fast and smooth autofocus in AF-S mode, ideal for sharp still images with minimal hunting. On bodies without Fast Hybrid AF, it uses contrast-detection AF, which is slower but provides accurate focus by analyzing image contrast, especially for static or well-lit scenes.
Includes Necessary Data
The MC-11 Mount Converter includes data for each compatible lens and uses a dedicated control program to optimize autofocus, aperture, and other functions. It supports camera features like peripheral brightness maintenance and correction of chromatic aberration and distortion. As new lenses become compatible, the adapter's control data can be updated via a computer.
Optical Stabilization
The MC-11 Mount Converter supports OS features of both the lens and camera body to reduce camera shake. When used with a camera that has OS, it enables angle shake correction in the lens for better stabilization.
Easy-to-Use Interface
