Clinical trials have shown that after 2 weeks, approximately 84% of DemeSORB's initial strength remained, and at 4 weeks, approximately 23% of its linear tensile strength remained.

DemeSORB polyglycolic acid (PGA) is made with the homopolymer of glycolic acid and coated with polycaprolactone and calcium stearate. The coating helps allow for easier passage through tissues with minimal drag. The design is intended to support precise knot placement, smoother tying down, greater tensile strength, and a decreased tendency to irritate tissue.

Every box of our sutures comes with instructions for use and 12 suture packs individually wrapped in DemeTRACK packaging. Do not resterilize. Discard open unused sutures.
