Resistor Chip Arrays
Product name: Digital Circuit Clock DIY Electronic Loose Kit
Board size: 151*105mm
Power supply: DC 5V
Function Description
This clock circuit is a 24-hour clock system that can perform hour, minute, and second calibration. It does not have functions such as hourly reporting, alarm clocks, timers, etc. It uses chips such as counter CD4518, decoder CD4511, CD4081, CD4013, CD4060, etc.
The digital circuit clock electronic kit is a six bit clock made of pure digital circuits, and does not contain a microcontroller in the circuit, so there is no program. This kit mainly consists of a second signal generator, a counter, a decoding display, and a timing circuit. The second pulse is a high-frequency signal generator that accurately divides the frequency to obtain a 1Hz square wave signal. The timing is relatively accurate and the error is small; The kit contains common integrated circuits such as counters, decoders, AND gates, D flip flops, and dividers.
Circuit Diagram
The second signal generator consists of CD4060 and CD4013, generating a square wave signal with a frequency of 1Hz. CD4060 is a 14 stage binary frequency divider/oscillator. It forms a 32768Hz oscillator with external resistors R48, R49, capacitors C5, C6, and quartz crystal Y. After 14 levels of frequency division, a square wave signal with a frequency of 2Hz is obtained at pin 3 (Q14). CD4013 contains two independent D flip flops, one of which is configured as a binary counter through a connection, and can obtain a second signal by binary counting the input 2Hz square wave signal. CD4518 is a double decimal addition counter. Use three CD4518 to count hours, minutes, and seconds, with hours configured in 24 base and minutes and seconds configured in 60 base. The counting result of CD4518 is output in BCD code form from pins Q0-Q3 to BCD decoder CD4511. CD4511 converts the BCD code into the corresponding digital display segment that lights up, forming rec
