This Sound Isolation Clip from Marvel Mute Fully encases the Hat channel with rubber ensuring no metal-to-metal connection.
The clip design allows for easier installation, the clip can be mounted to the channel and then attached to the studs. Additionally, you can fasten the clip to the studs with one screw and then open the other side to allow the channel to be inserted or removed easily without the need to squeeze the channel. You can attach these isolation clips to wall studs, ceiling joists, or masonry and secure them easily in place with drywall furring channels. Made from Fire Retardant Rubber.
