The original. Simply better. We took everything we learned from making and driving the original Deathgrip and created the Deathgrip2. After spending years refining handle design with Brendan Fairclough, Olly Wilkins and the DMR team along with riders from around the world at all levels, we knew we were looking for a winning formula. We've retained the features drivers know and love, and added some basic improvements along the way. The DMR Deathgrip2 features the grip pattern and layout that inspired an entire generation of mountain bike grips - it starts with a soft mushroom area for comfort in the thumb and index finger area to prevent blisters in a soft tissue zone. Next, the grip pattern features diamond knurling for grip in all conditions and any terrain - and the waffle layout bottom keeps your fingers in the perfect position for grip and control. A tapered core means the Deathgrip is firmly mounted to your handlebars with ease and the use of just one locking ring keeps things simple and firm. The Krayton rubber grip blends we use are soft and comfortable, yet durable and lightweight. Choose thin or thick diameters, with or without flanges - the choice is yours. We took these winning features of the Deathgrip and then added: an exposed core end for added durability when things get tough. A new injection molded DMR end cap for added branding and color coordination. The DMR collar lockring is now slimmer, more refined, and more integrated with the grip outer. The flanges are now slimmer with a new relief design and fresh DMR logo. Millimetre-perfect positioning of mushroom, waffle and knurling for the ultimate grip pattern.
