Overview:

The Surface Profile Gauge are generally refers to the instrument for detecting roughness. The instrument is simple to use and measures the height of the peak to the bottom of the sprayed surface. It can also measure the depth of c-o-r-r-o-s-i-o-n pits and cracks.

A zero calibration block is provided. The correct and effective pre-treatment of the surface of the substrate before coating is very important. If the roughness is too low, it will reduce the adhesion of the surface coating, and if it is too high the surface peaks will leave uncoated areas and cause rust, so measuring the roughness of the substrate becomes an indispensable part before pre-treatment the sample to ensure the correct roughness.
