The 1 kg Push Industries Nylon Anchor is designed for use with PWCs and boats up to 3.5 meters. Push Industries Anchors feature a unique design that allows them to set deeper into the seabed than most conventional anchors, resulting in significantly greater holding power, even in smaller, lighter models. SAE Equivalent: Approx. 1.5 lb. anchor weight. Dimensions: 405 x 175 x 165 mm. SAE Equivalent Dimensions: Approx. 16 x 7 x 6.5 in (L x W x H). How and Why Push Industries Anchors Work: The holding capacity of any anchor depends on how deeply it can embed into the seabed. Many traditional anchors are limited by their design, often only skimming the surface of the seabed and rarely burrowing in fully. In contrast, Push Industries Anchors are engineered with a weighted tip, a streamlined shank, and a small blade, all of which help the anchor to completely submerge and stay securely in place, even through changes in wind and tide. A key feature is the gap between the shank and the tip (see image above), which allows the anchor to adjust direction with minimal resistance, making retrieval easier. As the boat moves forward, the anchor rotates vertically, allowing it to be lifted with the same or less effort as it took to set it. SAE Equivalent: Push Industries Anchor's streamlined design provides an efficient, easy-to-retrieve solution, similar to how lightweight SAE 304 stainless steel anchors perform in saltwater conditions, offering superior resistance to corrosion. Reef Protection: To help preserve coral reefs and prevent becoming permanently stuck, you can move the shackle to the hole at the base of the shank and secure a cable tie through the top hole and chain. If the anchor becomes stuck, the cable tie will break, releasing the anchor without causing damage to the reef. When anchoring in areas other than reefs, it's recommended to use the main hole for attachment.
