Hot-dip galvanized for much more corrosion resistance than electroplated eyebolts
Drop forged for a higher tensile strength making them much stronger, and less likely to fracture than the formed eyebolts; Returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee
The 1/2” eyebolts have a breaking strength of 11,000 pounds and a working load limit of 2,200 pounds, for a safety factor of 5
The 3/8” eyebolts have a breaking strength of 6,000 pounds and a working load limit of 1,200 pounds, for a safety factor of 5
These eyebolts are useful for securing any cable, rope, or wire; Your imagination is the limit
وصف
Jones Sports eyebolts are drop forged and hot-dip galvanized. Drop forged eyebolts have a higher tensile strength making them stronger, and less likely to fracture than formed eyebolts. What's the difference between hot-dip galvanized and electroplated galvanized? Most eyebolts sold are electroplated which is less expensive to manufacture but has a much thinner coating process, electroplated eyebolts are not suitable for outdoor use, because their protective layer is too thin and will easily flake off. Hot-dip galvanized coatings are up to 10 times as thick and will always greatly outlast zinc electroplating in any environment. Check out the Jones Sports Amazon Store for more hardware, and other products. Caution: Use the working load limit when deciding what supplies you need for your project. For a safety margin, this is 1/5 of the breaking strength. Returned items may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
