The GX IO-Extender 150 is a simple plug-and-play module that connects to a GX communication centre, like the Ekrano GX or Cerbo GX, via USB. It expands your system's monitoring and control capabilities by adding extra inputs, outputs, PWM (variable power) outputs, and relays.

Whether you're managing a boat or campervan electrical system, a complex off-grid solar setup or an industrial backup installation, the GX IO-Extender 150 gives you the freedom to add more third party sensors, such as temperature probes, tank level sensors or float switches to your system, as well as additional relays, for example, to start/stop a generator, or switch on/off a fan.

Users familiar with Node-RED can also create custom control logics and automations with the GX IO-Extender 150. For example, you can automate a fan to turn on/off when a temperature sensor reaches a certain value, trigger a physical alarm when a tank level gets too low, or program time-based actions such as turning pumps on or off at set hours.

It is also compatible with the new Switch pane, introduced in Venus OS v3.60, which is an intuitive control dashboard, giving you complete freedom, from out of the box generator control and digital switching to advanced automation with Venus OS and Node-RED. Connect lights, boilers, pumps, and other equipment and control everything through one easy-to-use interface.
