A Sound Sensor is the perfect equivalent of a microphone, designed to capture sound waves and convert them into a visual vibration pattern. Unlike traditional microphones, this sensor focuses on detecting sound vibrations rather than measuring noise intensity.

Equipped with a built-in condenser electret microphone, it is highly sensitive to sound waves. When sound waves hit the electret film inside the microphone, they cause a change in capacitance, generating a small voltage variation. This voltage is then converted into a 0-5V signal through A/D conversion, making it easy for data collectors to process and transmit the information to your device.
