Closed Cell Sponges are made from a lightweight, radiolucent, non-porous foam. These comfortable positioning sponges are extremely durable. Non-coated, charcoal grey color. Radiolucent for artifact free imaging. Crosslink polyethylene foam has a firm feel & a higher tensile & tear strength compared to most foam products.

Coated Sponges feature a medical grade, coated black surface, easy to clean. Coated surface does not easily peel off or tear. Radiolucent with minimal shadowing at low attenuation. N-Visi-Ray heavy duty sponges are designed & manufactured with a flared angle that significantly reduces artifacts during x-ray imaging. Flared sides increase the overall size of a standard non-flared sponge but does not affect imaging or positioning.

Vinyl covered firm positioning support bolsters are manufactured with a high density foam core and Blue Medical Grade Heavy Duty Reinforced Vinyl covering. Sewn & welded seams are completely sealed for extra durability & to ensure easy cleaning between patients. Comfortable Firm Foam for comfort and support. Durable - manufactured with reinforced vinyl covering & sewn with monofilament thread for extra durability. Radiolucent & suitable for any imaging room including General X-Ray, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, CT & DEXA. Edge of sewn seams will show under x-ray imaging.
