*The AD831 provides a +24dBm third-order intercept point and achieves -10dBmL0 power consumption, eliminating the need for a high power L0 driver and the associated shielding and isolation issues, thereby improving system performance and reducing system cost compared to passive mixers.
*The mixer is designed to operate from a single supply and has DC isolation capacitors at the RF, IF, and L0 ports for ease of use. The RF and L0 inputs can operate up to 500MI. The IF output is a single-ended voltage output. It has a 250MHz output bandwidth. A single resistor connected between pins 0UT and FB is used to set the gain. The has low DC offset characteristics, so it can be used in DC-coupled applications such as DC-to-baseband conversion and quadrature amplitude demodulation.
