Unasco Ceramic Anti-Seize Tape is designed to aid in the assembly and disassembly of threaded components on applications where metal-filled tape isn't appropriate. Ideal for applications where an anti-seize compound would be inefficient or not suitable due to the risk of impurities or adverse reactions.
Unasco's Anti-Seize Tapes are manufactured from PTFE resin mixed with metal or ceramic flakes. These flakes act as slide or bearing plates between the two mating surfaces, resulting in excellent lubricity which prevents galling and seals threads to protect them from corrosion, dirt, and grit.
Resistant to a broad range of chemicals. Compatible with a wide range of metals including galvanized steel, steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, titanium, and magnesium. Use Ceramic Anti-Seize Tape when working with stainless steel to prevent corrosion.
Non-flammable.
Carrier/Backing: 100% Teflon PTFE. Adhesive: N/A. Service/Operating Temperature: -450F to 500F. Elongation: 100%. Density (standard): 0.8 gm/cm cubed.

Application Instructions
For fittings up to 1-1/2 inch / 38mm diameter
• Use 1/2 inch / 12mm wide tape.
- Clean the male and female threads thoroughly.
- Wrap the tape around the male thread. Take care to keep the tape under tension as you are wrapping so the tape moulds itself into the root of the thread.
- Make sure that you wrap with the thread.
- Make sure that the tape does not overlap the end of the fitting.
- Three wraps seal most threads.
Note. For poor quality or damaged threads or threads that are hard to seal like parallel threads or threads on fittings subject to vibration, more than four wraps may be necessary.
