⏱ Time: 3-5 minutes per spring
Step 1: Remove Hinge Pin
Spray WD-40 on pin base. Wait 2 minutes.
Insert nail under pin head, tap upward gently with hammer.
Critical: Grip pin head with pliers, rotate counterclockwise while pulling up.
Step 2: Install Spring
Slide spring onto pin until it sits flush with hinge top.
Spring arms must form 90° angle to door surface.

Step 3: Reinsert Pin
Push pin+spring back into hinge hole.
Tap gently with hammer until pin clicks into place.
Step 4: Tension Test
Open door 30°, release - it should hold position.
Adjust Tension:
Too weak: Bend arms outward 15° with pliers (↑ force).
Too strong: Apply silicone grease to hinge joints.
