Some cars may have larger 3/8 barb fittings on their radiators. If so there is one of a few solutions.

1) try like heck to slip the -4 hose over the larger barb

2) stretch the hose overnight and apply some heat

3) buy the -4 to -6 hose adapter hose with fittings
