The A-2SEL Super Illuminated™ has a classic and functional design optimized for all light conditions. Featuring an on demand battery-powered electroluminescent EL backlight that will illuminate the entire dial with an optically correct soft blue light with a simple push of the button, and Swiss super luminous lighting for hands & markers that will glow continuously in all light conditions. This design approach is superior as timing is driven by a separate battery, the EL function has a dedicated second battery and the luminous is not dependent to a battery.
