RAM Clutches push conversion systems replace the limited capability pull style clutch or dual mass flywheel system in 1989-1996 Corvettes. The RAM system consists of aluminum flywheel, high clamp pressure plate with 2800 pounds clamp load, and your choice of disc to suit your power level, or Force 9.5 dual disc system. An internal hydraulic bearing replaces the factory release mechanism to complete the install. The single disc system is capable of up to 650 horsepower holding capacity, while dual disc units will handle up to 900 horsepower. Single and dual disc units are available featuring the 300 series organic or 900 series metallic discs. Power ratings - single 300 series - to 550 horsepower, single 900 series to 650 horsepower, dual 300 series to 750 horsepower, dual 900 series to 900 horsepower.
