The bracket holes on this item are 53mm center to center.

If you have a plate on the back that won't line up with the screws.

This is not the wrong size bracket. Everyone has a different size bracket, just like the 53mm bracket we sell.

Just took the old plate off carefully and put it on the new one for seconds.

The starter or power solenoid valve 9-850188T1 is a stepped mounting plate solenoid suitable for various Mercury and Mariner outboard motors and MerCruiser sterndrives.
