Note:
1,Make sure the packing nut is secure
2,Using a thumb screw, open the valve half way, then tighten the packing nut until tight
3,Using the thumb screw, open and close the valve several times to ensure it runs smoothly and has the correct "seat feel" when either limit is reached (don't forget to keep the valve open until final installation)
4,Apply some grease to the bushings before installation, not too much, and then apply a little grease to the valve for installation, making it easier to rotate the valve in the direction you need
