The PRO series of variators differs from the previous ones by carrying heat sinks inside the circle shaped driver, with highlights, between the mass area and the bushing area, thus reducing the temperature and weight of the new and exclusive driver, as well as having a new aerodynamic design. The cavities of the masses are drilled for the pressure-depression effect make them act more quickly and smoothly both at the entrance of an upper gear and in the reduction to a lower gear without appreciating jumps, i.e. to take advantage of the air as a dynamic fluid to help the masses emerge or collect themselves faster without increasing fuel consumption.
